Enrolment Information and Terms
Those wishing to apply for a place in 2012 can collect a form from the Aquarena reception area, a copy can be faxed to you, or you can obtain forms by downloading below. Forms must be brought in and paid for on enrolment.
Term 2 2012 is a nine (9) week term commencing 30th April 2012 and concluding on 29th June 2012.
Term Fees
Term fees are payable on enrolment.

Lesson Fees
The following is included in the cost of the lesson.
- Entry fee and lesson for the swimmer
- Entry for a non swimming spectator or parent pool entry if they are required to participate in the class.
Enrolment/Payment Process
- Enrolment Forms and class categories can be downloaded below - fill in the enrolment form and then email it to programcoordinator@cgg.wa.gov.au at any time. Over the counter enrolments are taken at the Aquarena Foyer Monday-Friday 9am to 12noon and 3.00pm-4.30pm.
- Complete the Enrolment form
- Calculate cost of lessons
- Tick type of payment being made at the bottom of the form
- Fill in Credit Card details and email to the above address, or attach cheque and return to reception
- For cash or EFTPOS, see reception staff.
Priority is given to existing students. Every attempt will be made to accommodate your preferences, however this cannot always be guaranteed.
Once your child/children have been placed into a class, a confirmation email with stage enrolled, day and time of lesson and teacher will be emailed to you. Confirmation emails should be received within the week of enrolment.
Public Holidays
The Aquarena swim school does not conduct lessons on public holidays. This is factored into the term fees.
Entry cards
An entry card is issued at enrolment and can be collect from reception on the day of your child/children’s first class. Entry cards must be scanned at the main entrance prior to every lesson. A lost card will attract a $5.00 replacement fee.
Parental Supervision
It is a requirement that children under the age of 10 be accompanied by a parent or guardian whilst at the centre. A parent or suitable guardian must deliver and collect the student from their lesson. No child under the age of 10 will be allowed to walk over to a parent or guardian. Children under the age of 5, who swim before or after their lessons, must be accompanied in the water and within arms reach of a parent or suitable guardian at all times. This is a requirement under the Watch around Water program set in place by the Royal Life Saving Society
Refunds
Requests for refunds must be made in writing to the City of Greater Geraldton Aquarena and will only be granted if the family is relocating outside the City of Greater Geraldton area. A 20% fee will be incurred for refunds.
Credits will only be given for medical reasons and are only valid for the following term. A doctor’s certificate must be submitted to the City of Greater Geraldton Aquarena.
Photographs/videos
Any parent wishing to take photographs or videos of their children whilst in the centre must obtain approval of the operations manager or duty supervisor prior to taking images.
